From 1^st January 2022, all patients aged 25-49 with a cervix whose next routine cervical screening (smear) test result shows that they do not have HPV, will be invited for their next cervical screening test in 5 years’ time.

A Bilingual Caller announcement was put on the old numbers from Monday 10th February, notifying callers that the number will be changing on 1st April, 2025. This will provide callers with the new number to re-dial or they can hold and be transferred to the switchboard. On 1st April, 2025 an announcement will play to say the number has changed and to redial the new number. The announcement will remain in place for 6 months.
