Out of hours number change

The Out of Hours Service and NHS Direct Wales have been replaced with one easy to remember number - 111
 
This number is free and will help patients find the right advice, support and treatment. 111 is available 24hrs a day, 365 days of the year and is only to be used when its URGENT but not life threatening, or when the surgery is closed. If you have difficulty in accessing the 111 service, please ring 0345 46 47.

New hospital 03000 numbers

The main telephone numbers for the District General Hospital switchboards have now changed and can be used as follows...

Ysbyty Gwynedd - Tel: 03000 840840

Ysbyty Glan Clwyd - Tel: 03000 843843

Ysbyty Wrexham Maelor - Tel: 03000 847847

A Bilingual Caller announcement was put on the old numbers from Monday 10th February, notifying callers that the number will be changing on 1st April, 2025. This will provide callers with the new number to re-dial or they can hold and be transferred to the switchboard. On 1st April, 2025 an announcement will play to say the number has changed and to redial the new number. The announcement will remain in place for 6 months.
